TICL Tender Link

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about TICL TenderLink, tender alerts and billing in Tanzania.

1.What tender sources does TICL TenderLink cover?
TICL TenderLink monitors tender opportunities from multiple relevant sources in Tanzania, including public procurement opportunities, government institutions, public authorities, agencies, corporations and selected private-sector organisations. Our goal is to bring relevant opportunities together so you do not have to check many different sources every day.
2.Does TICL TenderLink cover government tenders?
Yes. Government and public-sector procurement opportunities are a major focus of TICL TenderLink. Depending on the tender and source, alerts may include opportunities from ministries, departments, agencies, local government authorities, public institutions, public corporations and other procuring entities.
3.How many email or WhatsApp recipients can I add?
This depends on your subscription: • Monthly: Up to 5 recipients • Annual: Up to 5 recipients • Business: Up to 15 recipients/users This allows different members of your organisation to receive relevant tender notifications.
4.Can I change my keywords or tender categories after signing up?
Yes. You can change your keywords, industries or tender categories as your business needs change. For example, you can monitor Construction, Building Materials and Cement Supply, and later add Electrical Works, Equipment Supply or Maintenance Services.
5.What time do TICL TenderLink alerts arrive?
Tender alerts are delivered when relevant opportunities are identified and processed. Where possible, TICL TenderLink aims to notify subscribers as early as practical so they have enough time to review requirements and prepare their bids. Delivery time can vary depending on when the tender is published by the original source.
6.Is there a free trial?
TICL TenderLink may provide sample tender alerts or a demonstration so potential subscribers can understand the service before paying. Rather than automatically charging customers after a trial period, we aim to keep the subscription process simple and transparent.
7.Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Monthly subscribers can cancel their subscription whenever they choose. Annual subscribers receive the annual service for the period they have paid for. Cancellation prevents the next renewal but does not normally create a refund for an already-used subscription period.
8.Does TICL TenderLink cover private-sector tenders?
Yes, where suitable opportunities are available. Although government and public-sector procurement is an important part of our coverage, TICL TenderLink can also monitor selected private-sector procurement opportunities from companies, organisations and other entities. Coverage may vary depending on the availability and accessibility of published tender information.
9.How is TICL TenderLink different from free tender alerts?
Free sources can be useful, but businesses often have to search several websites, check different pages and manually identify opportunities relevant to their business. TICL TenderLink is designed to save time by bringing relevant opportunities together, filtering them according to your interests, sending notifications, helping identify opportunities earlier and providing a more organised tender-monitoring process. TICL TenderLink does not replace the official tender source. Subscribers should always review the original tender document and official procurement notice before submitting a bid.
10.Does TICL TenderLink submit tenders on behalf of my company?
No. TICL TenderLink is primarily a tender discovery and alert service. We help you find and monitor opportunities. Your company remains responsible for obtaining official tender documents, meeting eligibility requirements, preparing the bid and submitting it according to the procuring entity's instructions.
11.Does receiving an alert mean my company qualifies for the tender?
No. An alert means that an opportunity matches your selected keywords or categories. It does not mean that your company automatically meets the tender's eligibility requirements. Always check the official tender documents for eligibility, registration, financial and technical requirements, submission deadline, tender security requirements and other conditions.
12.How much does TICL TenderLink cost?
Our current simple pricing structure is:
PlanPrice
MonthlyTZS 15,000/month

You can start with the TZS 15,000 monthly plan and upgrade when your tender activity increases.
15.Does TICL TenderLink guarantee that I will win a tender?
No. TICL TenderLink provides information and tender discovery, not a guarantee of tender awards. Winning a tender depends on factors such as eligibility, technical compliance, pricing, experience, capacity and the evaluation criteria established by the procuring entity.
